Event Operations Manager

This role is for someone who understands that great events are built long before the first drink is poured.

The Event Operations & Production Manager works side-by-side with the operations team to ensure every detail—from batching syrups to loading vans—is dialed, organized, and ready for service. You’ll lead the day-to-day flow of the operation, making sure everything leaving the warehouse meets Top Shelf standards.

Primary Focus The Manager of Operations will work closely with the operations staff on a daily basis to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. The role involves leading, ordering, managing, and overseeing various aspects of the operations department.

Role
If you’ve ever run a busy bar, managed a catering kitchen, or prepped for a high-volume event—you know the difference between hoping it works and knowing it’s ready.

This role owns that difference.

You’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of event execution behind the scenes:

  • Building and organizing cocktail batches, prep, and production

  • Managing inventory, tools, and event kits

  • Overseeing ordering and keeping par levels tight

  • Leading the team in the warehouse and jumping in wherever needed

  • Ensuring every event is packed, staged, and truly ready to go

This is a hands-on, in-the-weeds leadership role. You won’t be managing from a desk—you’ll be in the operation, setting the tone, catching the details, and making sure nothing slips.

While bartenders and event leads bring the experience to life in front of guests, you ensure they walk in set up for success every single time.

Who We're Looking For

This role is built for someone who genuinely loves the back-of-house side of hospitality—the prep, the systems, the organization, and the satisfaction of a flawless service.

You might be a great fit if you’ve:

  • Managed a high-volume bar program or catering operation

  • Run production in a kitchen or commissary

  • Led prep and logistics for events or mobile service

  • Been the person everyone relies on to have everything ready before go-time

This is not a corporate role—it’s for someone who takes pride in the craft and execution of hospitality at a high level.

Compensation/ Benefits

  • Salary Range $50,000-$60,000

  • 50% match your choice of our company's health insurance plan- optional

  • Up to a 3% company match to Top Shelf’s Simple IRA plan - optional

  • One week of paid vacation effective after six months of employment

  • Bonuses based on company performance
