The Holiday season is upon us. This time of the year is full of sights, smells and memories of celebrations past and future. It’s a season of giving, sharing and celebrating with those we love. With Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza and New Years Eve there is more than enough time to rejoice with a tasty cocktail in your hand. Here are a few of Top Shelf Services favorite holiday drink recipes that we would like to share with you.  Enjoy!

1.5oz Five Wives Sinful Vodka (cinnamon) 
4oz Spiced Cranberry Juice 
Garnish with Candied Cranberries
Ice 

Instructions:  Combine cinnamon vodka and spiced cranberry juice into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake well.  Pour contents into glass, garnish with candied cranberry.

Spiced Cranberry Juice Recipe:  Combine 1 gallon of cranberry juice, 1 whole orange (scored), 10 cinnamon sticks, 1/4cup whole clove and 3 whole nutmeg. Cheese cloth the spices.  Add all ingredients into cooking pot.  Heat the following items to near boil, then turn off heat and let steep for a minimum of an hour.  Remove cheese cloth spice and orange.  Let chill and serve.

2oz Bourbon 
4oz Spiced Apple Cider
Garnish with Orange Slice  

Instructions:  Combine whiskey/Bourbon into hot spiced apple cider and garnish with orange slice.

Spiced Apple Cider Recipe:  Combine 1 gallon of apple cider, 10 cinnamon sticks, 1/4cup whole clove and 3 whole nutmeg. Add all ingredients into cooking pot.  Heat the following items to near boil, then turn heat to low to simmer cider.

 

 

 


Santa’s Nog

1oz Bourbon
1oz Spiced Rum
4oz Eggnog 
Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg

Instructions:  Combine bourbon, spiced rum and eggnog into festive cocktail glass.  Garnish drink with freshly grated nutmeg.
