Our management team recently visited  Las Vegas to attend the Nightclub and Bartender Show as well as the Restaurant & Catering Convention.  All of the latest and greatest industry ideas and suppliers were there to showcase their products.  Its an annual trip we like to take that gets all or our creative juices flowing so that we can add to our coming events.

A highlight of our trip was being invited to a private “back of house tour” at the Bellagio Resort by the President of the MGM resort group!  The tour was organized by Dominique Bertolone, Executive Director of Food and Beverage for the Bellagio.  Executive Chef Edmund Wong and their Wine Director and Master Sommelier Jason Smith were such gracious hosts showing us what it takes behind the scenes to execute catered convention services, in house operations, and private parties.  The magnitude of what goes on there is mind blowing!!  We were able to witness the systems and procedures that they had in place to execute the finest events in the world!

The Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show draws bar owners, bartenders, liquor representatives and “talent” from around the world attend the three-day event in Vegas every year.  The  attendees come for inspiration and are looking for the latest inventions for the rapidly evolving mixology industry.  The convention has hundreds of exhibitors, cocktail contest and educational workshops to better ones knowledge of the bar industry.
