Top Shelf Services is a firm believer in supporting the Park City community and the surrounding Wasatch area. One of our favorite non-for-profit organizations is Park City’s local radio station KPCW. We rely on it daily for breaking news and community information. So we were ecstatic to have the opportunity to make a guest appearance on KPCW’s Fun Friday radio show.
Top Shelf Operations Manager, Mike Sondy, sat down with host John Burdick and Jan Williams and talked St. Patrick’s Day beverages. Mike had several great thirst quenching ideas for St. Patrick’s Day Parties. Including a classic Jameson Manhattan, Spicy Irish and the Red Headed Irishman. We had a great time on Fun Friday and we look forward to appear on KPCW in the near future.
Jameson Manhattan (Cocktail)
2 oz of Jameson Irish Whiskey
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
2-5 dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters
Instructions: Pour ingredients into a mixing tin with ice. Traditionally stirred but can be shaken, then strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry
Spicy Irish (drink)
1 1/2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
3/4 oz Gingerbread Liqueur
1 splash of Ginger Ale
Instructions: Fill rocks glass with ice. Pour ingredients as listed, garnish with lemon and or orange.
Red Headed Irishman (Shot)
1 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey
.75 oz Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
.75 oz Peppermint Schnapps
Instructions: Combine ingredients as listed, shake, and shoot. This is a nice shot to serve chilled for the weaker at heart.
